Amarin Thai Cuisine
We tried a new (well, new to us) restaurant yesterday. I decided to go there based on a post, and its comments, on Uneasy Rhetoric. We didn’t go to Gaesorn, the restaurant the post was about, but we’ll have to try that one someday.
We went to Amarin on 12th and I. The service was excellent. It was a good value. For pricing check their online menu. The food was very good.
For an appetizer we had Shrimp in a Blanket. It’s a good blend of flavors and for those of you who can’t eat spicy food, it’s not spicy.
The Garlic Lover Shrimp was good and they give you about a dozen big shrimp. The garlic sauce was very good and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. It’s great over rice.
The Path Tha-Le was excellent. It’s spicy, especially if you eat the Thai peppers. I love Thai peppers. If you’re not a big seafood fan, you won’t like it, however if you like seafood and Thai food, try it.
We will definitely eat there again. However we might try Gaesorn first.
